As of Aug 28, 2026Render offers workspace plans (Hobby, Pro, Scale, Enterprise) priced as flat monthly fees plus usage-based compute, bandwidth, and build minutes. Compute for services, Postgres, Key Value, Cron Jobs, and Workflows is billed separately per resource size, prorated to the second. Free compute tiers exist for web services, Postgres, and Key Value with usage limits; Enterprise pricing is custom.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Hobby | $0 / month | Deploy up to 25 services · 5 GB of bandwidth included · Single-service previews · Global regions & CDN · Chat support |
| Pro | $25 / month | Unlimited seats & services · 25 GB bandwidth included · Full-stack previews · Horizontal autoscaling · OIDC authentication |
| Scale | $499 / month | Multiple workspaces · 1 TB of bandwidth included · HIPAA-compliant workspaces · SAML SSO & SCIM · Advanced RBAC roles |
| Enterprise | — | Contractual uptime SLAs · Technical account manager · Support Slack channel · Support response SLAs |
Free tier Free compute plans available for web services, Key Value, and Postgres (e.g., 512 MB RAM free for services, 25 MB RAM free for Key Value, 256 MB RAM free for Postgres); Static Sites always free to deploy.
Changes
- ChangePricing
Render restructured compute pricing from separate sections (Static Sites, Services, Web Services, etc.) into unified tiers with CPU/RAM specifications; removed Static Sites free tier details from top of pricing section; updated Postgres, Key Value, Cron Jobs, and Workflows pricing tables with new scaling tiers; clarified Pro/Scale workspace billing policy.

Render's Workflows pricing added a new pay-as-you-go 'Flex' tier ($0.20/active CPU-hr + $0.05/active GB-hr, billed for active compute) and removed the top-end 'Pro Ultra' provisioned tier ($7.00/hr, 8 CPU/32GB), while existing tiers are now labeled 'Provisioned capacity' and the feature list changed from 'Run 1000s of parallel, async tasks' to 'Up to 10,000 CPUs for concurrent tasks' (Workflows also dropped its 'Beta' tag).

Render CLI v2.26.0 adds usage telemetry collection by default; flex compute plan replaces starter/standard for Render Workflows; new Deploys page released.
Render CLIv2.25.0 Aug 27, 2026Render CLIv2.26.0 Sep 01, 2026 ADDED USAGE TELEMETRY TO THE RENDER CLI The Render CLI now automatically collects usage telemetry to help us understand common use cases and improve user experience. Telemetry is enabled by default in version 2.26.0 or later. You can disable telemetry at any time by setting either the RENDER_CLI_DISABLE_ANALYTICS or DO_NOT_TRACK environment variables. INTRODUCED THE FLEX COMPUTE PLAN FOR RENDER WORKFLOWS The flex compute plan replaces the starter and standard compute plans for Render Workflows. Tasks that previously used starter or standard now automatically use flex instead.Confidence87% - ChangeAPI changelog

To support the expanded catalog, we're also changing compute plan IDs to a spec-based format that includes the relevant specs. For example a web service compute plan with 4 CPU and 32GB RAM now carries the ID 4c-32g. This convention allows you to more easily intuit the specs of compute plans as we add additional options. No action is needed to continue using your current compute plan(s). While you will see the IDs for plans change in the Render Dashboard and documentation, you can continue to use old plan IDs with the Render API, SDK, CLI, and Blueprints.Confidence95% - ChangeAPI changelog
