ChangeDPA / subprocessors
Meta added as new AI subprocessor with processing locations in USA, Australia, Denmark, Finland, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Sweden; AI content usage policy clarified to permit retention and review of flagged policy violations for abuse detection; general AI training restriction reworded.
Customer Content will not be used by artificial intelligence subprocessors for modeling purposes.
Our artificial intelligence subprocessors do not use Customer Content to train, fine-tune, or improve their AI models.
Where a provider's automated systems flag content as a suspected policy violation, such as malware, fraud, or child safety abuse, the provider may retain and review that content to enforce its policies. Meta may also use flagged content to improve its abuse detection systems. This applies only to flagged content, not to general usage, and retention is limited by our agreements.
